about

Cover art is by Gustave Dore. Based on a section of John Milton's Paradise Lost. "Nine Days They Fell". Lucifer and many other guilty angels cast from Heaven. Pretty godddamned epic. (pun alert)

Some new approaches were taken on this release. Some slower and more repetitive sections as well as more use of actual singing. Some clean sections were done improvisationally as I like to record everything in one take and my throat was killing me after recording several straight throat ripping tracks. They turned out be a good fit to me. All instruments and writing still solely by myself. Matt H.

The recent addition of my latest new toy, a bass, led to the fuller sound, and I couldn't resist recording a nice wind down instrumental closing to the album. Thanks for checking it out and enjoy. \m/
